Following a professional baseball career with the Detroit Tigers and graduation from the Max Fisher School of Business at The Ohio State University, Bob began his career in the financial services industry in 1971 in Columbus, Ohio. A desire to escape to warm weather precipitated a move to Florida in 1983 where he resides with wife Karen.

He has attained the CLU, ChFC and CWPP professional designations and has completed courses toward earning the Certified Pension Consultant designation from the American Society of Actuaries and the Master of Financial Services degree from the American College. He has served on the boards of the Tampa Bay and Space Coast Estate Planning Councils, the Tampa Chapter of CLU and is a current board member of the Central Florida chapter of the National Society of Financial Services Professionals. Bob has earned many industry awards and three times has been the leading national producer for major insurance companies.

Since 1991, Bob has been the Chief Executive Officer of Asset Strategies, LLC, a firm that assists in the development and marketing of innovative products and services designed for business owners, professionals and highly compensated executives for use in their tax management and asset protection planning. In particular, the firm has developed a high level of expertise in the utilization of small captive insurance companies by qualified closely held businesses. Bob is the co-author of Wealth Protection Strategies For The Affluent. Bob also serves as an advisor and coach to successful financial advisors throughout the United States. Asset Strategies, LLC has offices in Altamonte Springs, Florida and operates nationally through a network of major law firms, accounting firms and affiliated financial advisors.

Bob is also a member of the Wealth Protection Institute and Asset Protection Society.
